1] I cannot believe I'm going to be a
junior. how did that happen?
2] I hate Huck Finn. It's torture in the form of a book. I'm really trying not to judge till I finish it, but I just can't stand the writing style. How the hell is
gwyne supposed to translate to
going?!
3] I've been scrapbooking a lot. So far my scrapbook has 15 pages, including the cover page, and my postsecret page (where I put all of my postsecrets).
4] Even though I want to go back to school really badly, it seems way too soon. I mean...it's been
8 months, so I should be completely ready. but I'm not, somehow. Normal life seems unnatainable.
5] I'm going to be
17 in a
month. Weird, much? yeah...
6] I
hate Ben Fold's new song with Regina. seriously. It is awful fluff that I would expect from the jonas brothers. or hannah montana. same difference.
7] The Great Gatsby was
amazing. If you didn't read it for school, you should definitely read it on your own.
8] I really want to read some
good classics. War and Peace, Jane Eyre, The Sun Also Rises, Lolita, and anything by Fitzgerald are on my list. I don't know if I'll be able to tackle War and Peace though :P any reccommendations?
9] I'm excited for the election, but I'm also dreading it. I don't think I can stand another awful president.

1. i agree, but when i turned 16, i realized i felt sixteen, and now i feel like a junior, not a sophomore.
2. i loved huck finn. it was SO long, but it reminded me of cather in the rye.
3. i wish i would scrapbook and do all of those creative things more.

7. i just started catch-22 and it's SO LONG. it isn't a bad book though. i think we have to read 2 more books from that list, so maybe i'll do that and into the wild.
8. i've had walden for like, 4 months. i WILL read it. sometime.
9. i would like to care more, but at the dulles airport in washington d.c., there were lifesize cutout posters of mccain and obama. that freaked me out. they aren't movie stars, they're presidential candidates. at least obama is good looking.
